Analog brings together original paintings with museum exhibition artwork mockups representing artworks that are currently or had previously been exhibited in museum or gallery settings as a means of creating a conversation about the history of painting and professional art installation practices as an analogous vehicle for relaying both the naturalistic imagery, politics, and philosophies associated with their creators time and cultures; as well as incorporate the elements derived from the theatricality, effort, and at times absurdity associated with the installation and planning processes that are common place in producing large scale, big budget institutional exhibitions.

The common factor that links these two divergent art processes is that both act as analogies or stand-ins for something else, whether it be a concept, place, person, etc; or used in place of the actual artwork for siting and curatorial/institutional purposes. In Analog these objects mingle together in an effort to blur the line where the idea of 'Art' begins, ends, and at times even functions.
